Haro Mountain Bikes
Haro is a bicycle company that made a name for itself in the world of BMX. Haro has transferred some of that BMX attitude and knowledge over to their mountain bikes. Not being a huge name among mountain bike manufacturers, Haro is able to offer some great value with their mountain bikes.
Haro's Sonix line of full-suspension mountain bikes offers versatility comparable to other big plays in the category. The Sonix uses Haro's own proprietary Virtual Link suspension system to give you a bike that pedals uphill much like a hardtail, but can descent in a way that feels like you're riding much more travel than you are.
Where Haro really excels is in bikes like their Thread series. These dirt-jumping, urban style play bikes allow Haro to borrow from their deep knowledge of BMX style riding. Haro uses technology from BMX when building these bikes by offering sizing that's specific to top tube length rather than seat tube length like many other bikes in the dirt-jumping / urban category.
