Klein Mountain Bikes
Klein is a bicycle making founded by Gary Kein. Gay Kein was a pioneer in oversized aluminum tube bicycle building. He developed many building techniques when he was an engineering student at MIT. Klein was purchased by Trek in 1995 and there's recently been rumors of Trek abandoning the Klein brand.
Klein has always put an element of refinement and hand-crafted quality into their mountain bike frames. The Attitude line of mountain bikes is a fine example of this. All tubes of the aluminum Klein Attitude are highly manipulated and butted to provide maximum weight savings as well as refined ride. The Kein Attitude hardtail has been praised for it's racy demeanor, agile handling, light weight, climbing prowess and superior paint job.
Klein mountain bikes should be a consideration of any rider who's looking for a super efficient, super smooth climber. They're also appealing for the rider who wants that hand-crafted attention to detail, but doesn't quite have the cash to go full-custom.

This video looks to be a little dated, but there is some good footage of a couple guys rippin' it on Klein Attitude hardtails.
