Motobecane USA is a bicycle manufacturer that is not affiliated with the French bike maker Motobécane. Motobecane USA distributes their bikes through the Cycle Spectrum and BikesDirect.com chains. Motobecane USA is known as a discount mountain bike maker whose frames, like those of many other US bike companies, come from Taiwan.
Motobecane mountain bikes are sold direct through the internet, you'll probably save some money on a bike with decent parts, but you're also taking some risks. The bikes come with no dealer support and it's probably a good to have some decent mechanic skills because a lot of bikes purchased this way can arrive with parts and components that aren't properly adjusted.
