Raleigh Mountain Bikes
Raleigh USA has built both full-suspension and hardtail mountain bikes for a number of years. It seems as though they have now abandon the full-suspension like and are offering a lineup of reasonably priced hardtails. Half of of the Raleigh hardtail mountain bike line is more oriented toward rec riders and the other half offers better spec and more aggressive geometry.
Raligh has made an interesting choice by rounding out the top end of their mountian bike line with two 29ers. The XXIX is a single speed 29er that features a tough and smooth butted CROMO frame, 29" WTB Speed Disk Wheels and Avid BB5 mechanical disc brakes. The XXIX+G looks to be very similar to the XXIX, but speced as a nine speed rather than a single speed and with a REBA Rock Shox fork. The XXIX+G also features a buttery 4130 CROMO frame and WTB Stout tires.

Featured Raleigh Mountain Bike - Mojave 8.0
The Raleigh Mojave 8.0 is a great rec level mountain bike. If you're someone who hits light singletrack as well as fire trails and the local bike path, you'd do fine with a bike like the Mojave 8.0. It's relatively light aluminum frame and 9 speed Deore drivetrain will get you where you're going, whether that's down the mountian or through the back alley and down to the local grocery store.
